James “Jimmy” Alfred Bearden, Jr.,63, passed away June 30, 2016. He was born December 11, 1952, to the late James Bearden, Sr. and Martha Kenington Bearden.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason A. Bearden; his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dewey and Clara Headley; and his niece, Jennifer Heath.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Bearden; grandchildren, Jackson Bearden and Emilyn Bearden; sister, Jennelle Bearden (Gary) Etheridge; sister-in-law, Ann (Mike) Heath; brother-in-law, Terry (Marie) Headley; step-mother, Marie Bearden and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 3, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Etheridge, Scott Etheridge, Josh Headley, Ross Bearden, Loyce Dixon and Charles Golson.
