Marlene Suther passed away peacefully at her home on June 10, 2016.

She was preceded in death by a loving husband of 48 years, William Suther; son, Allen Suther; her parents; nine brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Suther and Gary Suther; daughter-in-law, Patricia; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; very special friend, Mr. Earl Parker; and special friend and caregiver, Shanna Johnson.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 13 at 1 p.m. at Ocmulgee Baptist Church with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at noon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randel Suther, Mark Suther, Walker Suther, Robbie LaCostas, Shaffer Reid and James Vogler. Honorary pallbearers will be the current and former deacons of Ocmulgee Baptist Church.
