Ila Mae Meister, age 89, went to our Lord on June 8, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman S. Meister; son-in-law, Vernon Hale; parents, Charles and Rosa Ellis; in-laws, Fredrick and Elsie Meister; brothers, Charles (Vickey) Ellis and Eugene (Jerrie) Ellis; sisters, Becky (Alvis) Frith and Marie (Eddie) Ward; and three nephews and two nieces.

She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Hale and Norma (Larry) Hodnett; grandchildren, Stacey (Rickey) Harper, Ellen (David) Barrett and Juss Fredrick W. Meister; three great-granddaughters, Brady Harper, Morgan Harper and Kelsie Barrett; one great-great-granddaughter, Aya Rose; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 11 at 11 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Mason Harris officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, June 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
