Mildred Edwards Dunkin, age 92, of Prattville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Larry Mims, and grandson, Chris Dunkin.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Dunkin; children, Robert (Sharon) Dunkin of Orange Beach, Dorothy Mims of Prattville and James (Barbara) Dunkin of Pike Road; grandchildren, Terri (Tom) Carr, Jerry (Becky) Mims, Scott Mims, Kim (Richard) Kinsaul, Jennifer (wife of Chris) Dunkin, Laurel Dunkin, Eddie Cooper and Emily Cooper; eight great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Edwards.

Funeral services will be at Ocmulgee Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 25 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Harris, the Rev. Mark Stokes and the Rev. Danny Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow at Ocmulgee Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Mims, Scott Mims, Tom Carr, Richard Kinsaul, Mark Harris, Bryan Carr, Brent Mims and Tanner Dunkin.
