Mrs. Bernice Hale Moore was born May 7, 1937, to the late John and Josephine Hale in Sardis. She confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was married to the late Eddie Moore Sr. and to this union two children were born. Eddie Moore Jr. and Beatrice Lenice Moore (deceased).

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted son: Eddie Moore Jr. of Selma; two brothers, James Hale of Selma and Wilson Hale of Bessemer; and four grandchildren, Marketea Coleman, Titus Moore, Jeremiah and Joshua Ellis, all of Selma.

Arrangements are scheduled for May 14 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church in Sardis with the Rev. Anthony Shears, pastor and the Rev. Alex Perkins Sr. officiating and Walker Mortuary directing.
