Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and mother figures. This is a special day for some special people.
Alabama Coach Paul Bear Bryant once made a commercial for Central Bell Telephone Company in which he asked, “Have you called your mama today?” Coach Bryant continues with a statement the still resonates with many people: “I sure wish I could call mine.”
It’s a powerful reminder that mothers are not always with us and to cherish mamas and grandmothers while we still have them.
