Clara Murphy Thicklin, 59, of Selma, passed away May 3, 2016, in Selma. Services are scheduled for May 7 at noon at New Hope Apostolic with pastor Joe N. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. She is survived by her spouse, Penrose Thicklin Jr.; son, Anthony Derick (Shirlenta) Thicklin; and daughters, Cassandra (Derick) Williams, Penny Thicklin, Nisce (Quentin) Thomas and Lacy Thicklin.
