Two Keith coaches have been named the Times-Journal’s basketball coaches of the year.

Keith boys coach Tommy Tisdale is the Times-Journal’s Boys Basketball Coach of the Year and Keith girls coach Cecil Williams is the Times-Journal’s Girls Coach of the Year.

Both coaches led their teams to Birmingham this season. The Keith boys reached the 1A state semifinals before losing to Sacred Heart. Williams led the Keith girls to Birmingham for the third time in four years.
