Keith’s John Pettway was named to Alabama Sports Writers Association’s all-state team on Sunday.

Pettway made the first-team of the Class 1A all-state team after averaging 23.7 points per game, 6.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists this season for the Bears. 

He led Keith to the AHSAA state finals this season for the first time since 2011.

The girls team was released Saturday. Keith’s Harriet Winchester was named to the first-team in class 1A and Zykia Pettway was named to the second-team. 

The Alabama Sports Writers Association’s all-state girls team was released on Saturday.
