Shirley Margaret H. Blanton, age 77, of Selma, passed away March 10, 2016.
BLANTON
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances Hill; and sister, Linda Jean Hill.
Surviving are her husband, Marshall D. Blanton; children, Lynda Frances B. (Chris) Atwood of Santa Fe, NM and James Kenneth (Claire) Blanton of London, England; sister, Janet Frances H. Greggory; and grandchildren, Brook Elizabeth Palmer of Rockport, Texas and Elodie & Millie Blanton of London, England.
BLANTON
She was an active member of First Christ Church and worked for a number of years at Roger Butler Jewelers. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in the Annie King Chapel with Russell Morrow officiating.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the outpouring of prayers, support and concern for Shirley, particularly as her health deteriorated.
