Eddie J. Goree of Marion passed Oct. 28, 2015, at Hale County Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church, Marion, with the Rev. James E. Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Church Cemetery with Melvin Miller Funeral Service directing. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church.
