Minnie Winston was born in Thomasville on March 14, 1915, to Willie and Mary Thomas.

It was during those years that she read the Bible completely through 43 times.
She was given an award for leading the most individuals to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour in the South Central Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists.
Minnie passed away July 26, 2015. Services will be held at Temple Gate SDA Church Friday, August 7, 2015, at 12 noon, 1601 Franklin St.
