There is plenty to do in the Selma area this weekend for the Fourth of July.
The city of Selma will hold its Street Fest celebration starting Friday at 7 p.m. and will continue Saturday.
Day passes for the event can be purchased for $15 and a weekend pass is available for $25.
A music street fest will be among the entertainment for the event. Eric Essix and Jazz Escape will perform live on Saturday.
If you’re looking for fireworks, there’s plenty of options to see them too.
Orrville and Valley Grande will have firework shows Saturday night.
Valley Grande will celebrate the Fourth at the city’s baseball fields and walking trail starting Saturday at 5 p.m. Before the fireworks are shot into the sky, vendors, inflatables and much more will provide entertainment.
History is being made in Orrville, as the town hosts its first ever fireworks show for the Fourth of July.
The program will start at 8 p.m. at the Orrville Community Center and there will be snacks and drinks available for purchase.
All three communities have put a lot of hard work into these ceremonies, so we encourage everyone to take a few minutes, enjoy the festivities and celebrate the holiday with friends and family.
