The men’s softball tournament to honor former Selma recreation director Elton Reece ended in a coin toss due to weather conditions.
The tournament got to the final six teams before the rain started to fall and they had to flip a coin to decide who the winners were.
Rehab Associates finished in first place, while Bet Chu Won’t, Reece’s son Todd’s team, finished in second and Money Shots finished in third.
The event helped raise $3,200, which will go toward an annual scholarship in honor of Reece for an area senior athlete next school year.
Todd said he wants to continue the softball tournament fundraiser annually and alternate the scholarship between male and female recipients.
