The group will perform May 3 at First Baptist Church in Selma at 10:45 a.m., at Cedar Hills Assisted Living Home at 3 p.m. and at Jesus Day at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church at 5 p.m.

Horne said the college has held music tours for years, and this year the college wanted to perform in areas where some of its students live.

“We’re also going to be in the Mobile area where there’s a lot of Judson alumni, so we can celebrate the fact there are Judson women all over,” she said.

First Baptist Church Selma Pastor Jerry Light Sr. said he is excited to have the tour stop by his church. The group will also be be present at the Jesus Day event that will be held at 5 p.m. at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church.
