On Thursday, April 9, U.S. Rep Terri A. Sewell will host a “Congress in Your Community” town hall meeting in Orrville at the Orrville Community Center. The visit is part of Sewell’s annual “Congress in Your Community” tour through the 14 counties of the 7th Congressional District.
During the 2015 tour, Rep Sewell will make additional stops in Bessemer, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Hayneville, Montgomery, Reform, Epes, Thomaston, Pennington, Thomasville, Yellow Bluff, Marion, Greensboro, and Eutaw.
Sewell’s annual town hall meetings give constituents an opportunity to share their views and hear updates on the latest in Congress.
“Each year, my annual tour serves as a catalyst for meaningful dialogue with my constituents. I look forward to connecting with the residents of the 7th Congressional District to address their concerns and update them on the various legislative initiatives in Congress,” Rep. Sewell said. “I am certain that this year’s tour through the district will continue to help me to better serve the needs of those I’m honored to represent.”
