Former Selma High School standout Charles Eaton continues to shine for the West Alabama men’s basketball team.

Eaton and the Tigers fell to Alabama-Huntsville 73-68 Saturday at Samford University in the Gulf South Conference tournament championship game, but it was a good week for the former Saints’ star.

Eaton made the All-Tournament Team after averaging 18 points per game and over 4 rebounds per game. The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Division II men’s basketball tournament as a No .5 seed and will face West Georgia Saturday in Lakeland, Fla. in the first round.
