When Dallas County Schools board member William Minor attends the luncheon in Birmingham Dec. 5 to be recognized for his advancement in the Alabama Association of School Boards Academy, he will be representing more than himself.
Recently honored with a spot on the 2014 All-State Board, Minor will be representing Dallas County. He servers as a reminder that people in the area have plenty to offer the world, and we’re proud to call him ours.
Only five former or current Alabama board member who displayed evidence of commitment to the Member Academy training activities, participation in education activities and met the other challenging criteria were selected for the board.
And now that his hard work has taken him this far, he’s set to advance in the Alabama Association of School Boards Academy and continue to make us proud.
