Mr. John Wilkerson passed away November 21, 2014. He was born July 24, 1940 to the late John Pastor and Maude Wilkerson.

He is also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy Wilkerson; sons, Kenneth (Barbara) Wilkerson, Sr. and John Paul (Renee’) Wilkerson; daughter, Sherry (David) Hand; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and brother, Devan (Adalene) Wilkerson.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown, Alabama. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Wilkerson, William Wilkerson, Landon McMillan, Conner McMillan, Allen Canterbury, J.R. Howard, James Wyatt and Mark Johnson.
