Lewis Jones Moore III, of Tuscaloosa, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Lewis and Mattie Moore Jr. and niece: Oneida Sherling.

Mr. Moore is survived by his sister: Oneida Moore Poulsen (Hans) of Selma; nephews: Daniel McFarland Sherling (Denise) of Birmingham, John Kendrick Sherling Jr. (April) of Greenville, David Russell Sherling of Greenville; step-nieces: Tina Cox (Jim) of Selma, Mary Cole (Steve) of Selma, Elizabeth Gilbreath (Gordon) of Nashville; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Lewis was reared in Selma and graduated from A.G. Parrish High School and he attended The School of Engineering at the University of Alabama.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2014 in the chapel of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jerry Gunnells officiating. Memorials can be made to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church 301 Broad St. Selma, AL. 36701
