Arthur Johnson, 77, of Beloit, Alabama died on October 25, 2014 in Beloit.  Services are scheduled for November 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Alex D. Perkis officiating. Burial will follow at Carlisle Cemetery with services directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Rick Johnson, Herman Johns, Ysobell Houston and Henry Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, W. Beveraldine E. Johnson; a son, Dr. Alcuin Johnson; a daughter, Tanya “Tan” Johnson and a sister, Bobbie Jean Todd as well as three sister-in-laws and a hot of  nieces, nephews, relatives  and friends.
