Charles (Byjoe) Smitherman, 75, of Maplesville died Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
He was born on Monday, November 14, 1938 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late William Clarence Smitherman and the late Ella Mae Braswell Smitherman.He was a Home Builder.
Surviving are his Wife, Shirley B. Smitherman of Maplesville, AL; Daughter, Vicki (Tim) Williamson of Valley Grande, AL; Granddaughters, Savannah Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Trinity Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Peyton Williamson of Valley Grande, AL, Landen Williamson of Valley Grande, AL; Grandsons, Justin (Samantha) Bone of Clanton, AL, Trent Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Brentin Littleton of Valley Grande, AL; Great-Grandsons, Ethan Kitchens of Maplesville, AL, Jayce Plaisance of Maplesville, AL, Jake Bone of Clanton, AL; Brothers, Tommy Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Johnny Smitherman of Maplesville, AL; Sisters, Ina (Wayne) Scott of Verbena, AL, Lillie Smitherman of Maplesville, AL, Pat Freeman of Macon, MS.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clarence & Ella Mae Smitherman; Son, Clint Smitherman.
Friends will be received from 5-7, Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Baptist #2 Church.
Services will be held Friday, June 6, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist #2 Church with Rev. William Short officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel #2 Cem., Maplesville, AL.
