Macon Moore, age 81, of Selma passed away Monday, March 31, 2014. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force from which he served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam and also retired from Selma Water Works.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Augustus and Ella Moore and son, Timothy Earl Moore.

Mr. Moore is survived by his sons: Kenneth Keith (BJ) Moore, Ronald Kevin Moore (Teresa) ,Michael Anthony Moore and George Macon Moore: daughter: Sharon Rena Moore Reid (Tye) : grandchildren: Brandon Glenn Phillips( Lane), Brittany Gayle Phillips (Tim),Christopher Keith Moore (Jennifer), Justin Kevin Moore (Kayla),Matthew Macon Moore (Karen), Alexandria Moore and Jacob Moore: great grandchildren: Summer, Brody, Emma, Carter, Nataly, Sofia, Trinity, Kale and special friend, Celie McGilberry.

A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Lawrence Brown -Service Funeral Home with Reverend Pat Grindle officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be: Doc Meeks, Earl Luker, Glenn Phillips, Burt Fisher, Jeff Mott and Mike Cutler.
