Charles J. Boone, 61, a resident of Selma, died March 25, 2014 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held March 29, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jimmy Coleman. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Annie Mae Fitts; brothers, Jesse Gipson, Otto Fitts, and Little Richard Fitts.

Survivors include spouse, Shirley Boone; son, Rodney (Kimerley) Harris of Maryland; daughter, Charmeca Davis of North Carolina; supportive step-son and daughter, Terrence Jones of Selma, and Ashley Callens of Birmingham.
