Mrs. Voncile Hill Sherrer, 78, resident of Selma, passed away March 14, 2014. She graduated from R.B. Hudson High School in 1955. She was a member of GroveHill A.M.E. Zion Church, Selma, AL. She leaves to cherish a loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Mr. Theodore Sherrer; four sons, Darious, Lyndell (Christine) Sherrer, Theodore and Warrick Sherrer; three sisters, Omega (Leonard) Sewell, Detroit, Mich, Ovetta (James) Williams, Bess, AL., Elizabeth Hill, SELma; two brothers, Alfred (Phyliss) Hill, Mich., and LArry (Jeanette) Bowie, MD.

Public viewing and flower delivery from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday at the church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Grove Hill AME Zion Church, #1098 County Road 292 S., Selma, AL, 36701. Burial will follow in churchyard cemetery directed by Earnest Johnson Funeral Home, Inc.
