Mrs. Bertha Melton, 50, resident of Perry County passed away February 27, 2014 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, 12:00 noon at Marion Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Kevin Seay. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service.

She is preceded in death by father, Willie Sayvor.

Survivors include spouse, Eura D. Melton; mother, Linda Sayvor; daughter, Latasha M. Hunter; brother, William James Sayvor; six sisters, Berlinder S. Blevins, Debra Sayvor Malone, Willie M. Rutledge, Ariella R. Fuller, Audrey Ford, and Jacquline Chambers; one grandchild, seven nieces, five nephews; special friends, Kathy McVay, George McVay, Linda McGee Blevins, and Jacinta Wells.
