Edna Monk Kelley

Edna Monk Kelley passed away on February 18, 2014 at the age of 83.
She was born on December 24, 1930 to the late Thomas Travis and Mamie Monk. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James Gabriel Kelley.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by her son, James Travis Kelley (Debbie); daughter, Kathy Kelley Zuelzke (Buster); grandchildren, Reid McBride Zuelzke, Gabriel Travis Kelley and James Edward Zuelzke (Lauren); great-granddaughter, Mary Carlyle Zuelzke; brother, Thomas Mason Monk of Selma, Al. and sister, Anne Monk Lambert of Minersville, Pa, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kelley was actively involved in First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there for many years. She served on various committees for as long as she was able.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 21, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. at First Baptist Church’s Mallory Parlor. Graveside services will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jerry Light officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
