Thomas W. “Bama” Walker, 59, of Binghamton, formerly of Selma, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. He is predeceased by; mother, Marlene Sims Bergeron; step father, Roger Bergeron; and half brother, Frank Walker Jr. Tom is survived by his loving family; father, Frank Walker, FL; daughter and son-in-law; Bridget and Mark Rinker, Bing.; two grandchildren who were the lights of his eyes; Dakota Thomas Testa and Kendall Rinker, Bing.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Sherri Walker, FL; Paula and William Ridgeway, AL; Mary and Robbie King, AL; two special gentlemen who Tom took under his wing and treated as sons; Thomas A. Testa and Scott Finch; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. “Bama” was a construction contractor who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery. He was also an avid Harley motorcyclist. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street Johnson City, NY with Rev. Steve Chastain officiating. Donations in Tommy’s memory may also be made to the grandkids.
