Rita Faye Posey, age 60, of Selma, AL passed away on February 4, 2014.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ford Harris and Lessie Ree McAnnally Harris; and sisters: Bobby Lefan and Anne Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Preston Posey of Selma, AL; stepson, Carl Preston Posey of Kentucky; Kim Smith (Todd) of Muscle Shoals, AL; brother, Audie Ray Harris (Bonnie) of McCrory, AR; sisters, Ruby Franks (Bill) of New Richmond, WI and Carolyn Bolen (Gary) of Selma, AL; sisters in Christ, Kathy Rivers and Deborah Myrick; one grandchild, Jordan Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherokee, Alabama. Visitation will be held at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
