Mrs. Creola J. Carter, 82, resident of Selma, passed away January 23, 2014 in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel officiated by Brother Derrick Drye. Burial will follow in St. Emanuel Cemetery, Coy, Alabama, directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Selma.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel McMillian (Leola) of Selma and Claude Carter of Fort Wayne, IN.; two daughters, Gwendolyn Jackson (Daniel) and Gretha Parker (Andrew) of Selma; a special granddaughter, Jacquana Marshall of Selma; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
