Ms. Mary Mendenhall, 71, resident of Selma, passed away January 9, 2014 at Baptist South Hospital. Services will be held Thursday, January 16, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Molet Deer. Burial will follow in Sand Island Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include two sons, Mr. Sylister F. Mendenhall and Mr. John D. Mendenhall; four daughters, Mrs. Daphne H. Martin, Mrs. Sonya Wilkins, Ms. Shemika A. Mendenhall, and Ms. Yolanda C. Mendenhall; brother, Mr. Richmond Mendenhall; sister, Mrs. Cora A. Watts; twenty four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, two sisters-in-laws.
