David Worthy, 74, resident of Marion, AL, passed away on December 7, 2013 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 10, 1939 in Selma to King and Mary Ellen Hutto Worthy. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013, 11:30 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery, Selma. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 10-11 a.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.

Survivors include wife, Malonia  Worthy, Marion; daughters, Margaret Worthy Troha, Magnolia Springs, AL and Jo Worthy Robey, Pace, FL; son, Allen Worthy, Selma; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chase Tankersley, Nicholas Worthy, Jim Tankersley, Jacob Troha, John Michael Troha, and Mathew Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Irby Pope, Richard Royster,and Clyde Harrell.
