Madelyn Stallworth Thomas, 94, passed away December 4, 2013, at her home in Thomaston, Alabama. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Franklin Thomas and her son Henry Franklin Thomas, Jr. She is survived by daughters Margaret Thomas of Louisville, Kentucky and Lyn Thomas Lokey of St. Francisville, Louisiana and sons Dr. E. Gaines Thomas and wife Linda of Mobile, Alabama and Charles Brooks Thomas and wife Diana of Montgomery, Alabama. She is also survived by grandchildren Margaret Lokey Stassi, Henry Franklin Thomas III, Cary Thomas Dowdle, E. Gaines Thomas, Jr, Wilson Thomas, Dr. Carter Thomas, Hannah Thomas, Madelyn Thomas, and Mary Brooks Thomas and by five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Thomaston Baptist Church in Thomaston, Alabama, at 11:00 on Monday, December 9with Lawrence Brown-Service funeral Home directing. Memorial donations may be made to the Thomaston Baptist Church or the Thomaston Cemetery Fund.
