Mr. Jaylan Jaleel Rawls

Mr. Jaylan Jaleel Rawls was born December 16, 1999 to Wilnadia Rawls and Derrick Harville in Selma, Alabama.
At an early age he confessed his faith in Christ and became a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama. Later while relocating to Snellville, Georgia he faithfully attended Word of Faith: Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, Georgia until his death. Jaylan had many past times which included: drag racing, fast cars, airsoft guns, collecting Jordan’s; also loved listening to music, playing video games, talking on the phone and having fun with his family and friends. He touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his witty sense of humor all the way to the end.
He departed this earth on November 14, 2013 at Eastside Medical Center, Snellville, Georgia.
Services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist church, 1548 Legrande St., Selma. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Gardens, Valley Grand, AL, directed by George F. Grubbs Funeral Home, Troy, AL.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Florence R. Simmons; great-great grandmothers, Willie Mae Davis, and Mary Gamble.
His loving memories will always be in the hearts of his loving parents, Wilnadia Rawls and Derrick Harville; Snellville, GA; one half-sister, Amya Hudson; Snellville, GA; one half-brother, Damion Pettway, Leeds, AL; grandmother, Hattie Harville, Selma, AL; grandfathers, Lorenzo Simmons and Willie Harville, Sr., Selma, AL; great grandmother, Jacqueline Rawls, Selma, AL; six aunts: Lorrenda Simmons, Edrena Harville, Tamika Harville Thomas, Cynethia Harville, all of Selma, AL; Rene Harville, and Kellye Harville, both of Snellville, GA; three uncles: Willie Harville, Jr., Snellville, GA; LaBarry (Tasha) Harville, Covington, GA; and Dewayne Harville, Sr., Selma, AL; nine great aunts: Masakela Rawls, Paulette (Ronnie) James, Dora (Calvin) Johnson, Betty Moore, Mary Rose, Ernestine Harville, all of Selma, AL; Lela (Ernest, Jr.) Pyles, Anna (Ronald) Kalin, all of New York; and Mary Rose, California; three great uncles: James Rawls, Selma, AL; Warner Morgan, Montgomery, AL; and Kenneth Hickman, Greenville, SC; and a host of close relatives, cousins and friends.
