Gail Bryant, of Birmingham, AL, was born October 10, 1949 and passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 after battling a long illness. Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. A loving wife and mother, Gail’s warm heart and wonderful sense of humor brought a smile to everyone who crossed her path, Gail genuinely cared for all persons and gave much of her time to volunteering within the community. She was preceded in death by her father George, mother Ermogene, and brother Jerry. Survivors include Gail’s husband, Bill Bryant; son, Patrick Bryant; daughter, Ellen Bryant;mother-in-law, Geneva Bryant; sisters-in-law; cousins; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Gail’s caregivers at AlaCare Hospice, Dora Larkins, Nicole Smith, and Teresa Jones. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association
