Panthers fall to T. R. Miller

BREWTON — T. R. Miller dominated Southside 54-14 Friday night in a game that was a blowout from the very beginning.
The Tigers jumped out a 34-0 first quarter lead and never looked back.
In the second half, Jhalandius Sullivan and Khamari Gibbs added touchdowns to put the Panthers on the scoreboard.
“T.R. Miller is a great team with a great coach,” Southside head coach Daniel Flowers said. “I just thought our guys would have played better in the first half.”
T.R. Miller racked up 329 total yards of offense in the game and 21 first downs. The Tigers had 267 yards of offense on 44 carries while having 62 yards in the air on four completions.
Southside hosts Excel next Friday night.
