Mr. Darrell W. Brown, 55, resident of Minter, AL., passed away October 5, 2013 in Minter. Services are scheduled for October 12, 2013, 12:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Minter. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma. Viewing of the body will be held 11:00-12:00 prior to service.

Survivors include spouse, Annette M. Peagler; two sons, Julius A. Brown, II and Derrek D.(Tiffany) Brown; five daughters, Jasmine Brown, Courtney (Ned) Underwood, Tiffany (Edward) Robinson, Gretal (Carlos) Mims, and Cassandra Ellis; nine brothers, Willie James (Patricia) Olds, Audrey Olds, Acey Olds, Julius Bledsoe, Ronnie (Anita) Thomas, Aaron (Rose) Saxton, Dennis Chaisten, Anthony Brown, and Billy Brown; five sisters, Chrystal (James Sr.) Dansby, Theta (Charles) Warren, Merle (Jimmy) Warren, Denise Chaisten, and Gail (Hamilton) Boykin; sixteen grandchildren, three sons-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, four brothers-in-laws, four sisters-in-laws. Pallbearers will be class of 1976.
