Marie D. Jones, 73, resident of Marion Junction, passed away September 12, 2013 at home. Services are scheduled for September 21, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at New Parnell Church officiated by Rev. Talton. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by mother, Virginia Johnson; son, Lawrence Jones; brother, Roosevelt Johnson; father, William Johnson; brother, Lawrence Johnson; sister, Virginia Pope.

Survivors include sons, Allen Jones Jr., Willie Jones, Henry Jones, Timothy Jones; daughters, Helen Smiley, Gloria Childress, Ida Jones, and Towanda Jones; brother, William Rogers; sister, Rosie Lee Sophas; sixteen grandchildren, twenty two grandchildren, one son-in-law, four daughters-in-laws, one sister-in-law, seven nieces, and eight nephews.
