Mr. William Kennedy, resident of Selma, passed away September 7, 2013  at Baptist South Hospital, Montgomery, AL. Services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Mount Ararant Baptist church officiated by Pastor L.L. Ruffin. Burial  will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He is preceded in death by parents Mrs. Nancy Kennedy Johnson, Mr. Raymond Johnson, stepfather, James Johnson Sr.

Survivors include one daughter, Terrie Danner; eight brothers, James Johnson, Jr. (New York), Samuel Johnson, Earnest Johnson, Wendell Fullenwilder, Paul L. Johnson (Selma), Willie James Johnson, Chicago,IL, Tonio Shannon, and Raymond Shannon; fourteen sisters, Ophelia Johnson, Shirley Johnson, Lilly (Hardy) Johnson, Carolyn Johnson, Patricia Johnson, Christine, Ada, Maple Fullenwilder, Annie Pearl, Julie Savage, Glenda, Brenda Rochelle Shannon; four brothers-in-laws, one sister-in-law, numerous cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
