Cleveland Thomas, 63, of Selma died August 30, 2013 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Services will be held Friday, September 6, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel officiated by Minister Barry Smith. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include spouse Beverly M. Thomas; sons, Kendall Merchant, Cheo Hardy, Johnathan Black, John C. Thomas Jr., Quentin (Nisce) Thomas; daughters, Kianna Thomas, Laquita Rattler, JoAnn (Kawambi) Perry, Linda (Michael) Smiley, Denise Thomas; James (Debra) Bennefield, Lonnie Bennefield, and Toney Bennefield; sisters, Dolly (Danny) Smith and Linda Bennefield; twenty grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
