Bertram Douglas Smith, 80, of Marion, AL passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at his home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Rinehart Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Marion, AL with Rev. Jimmy M. Boone officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Smith is survived by his children, Jeffery Smith of Bar Harbor, ME and Jennifer Smith Bonds of Akron, AL; grandchildren, Deasy Smith, Sloan Smith, Delaney Smith, Ashley Smith, and Jeff Rinehart; sister, Lucy Jane Boles (Ferrell) of Bagdad, FL; and his loving mate, Mary Jo Etheridge.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Rinehart Mt. Nebo Cemetery Fund.
