Thursday, the Selma Police Department arrested Andre Lashawn Sanders, 37 and Jason Antonio Sanders, 30, in the 2000 block of Philpot Avenue in connection with a 10-month long investigation involving the Nov. 12 robbery of GameStop in Selma.
When detectives arrived at the residence, Jason Sanders exited the rear of the home with an armful of video games. When he saw the detectives, he ran back into the residence, dropping the games on the ground.
Both Andre and Jason were detained at the scene and a search warrant was obtained, which uncovered a low-end estimation of $2,000 worth of game console accessories. Both were transported to the Selma Police Department for interviews and were later arrested under probable cause for third degree burglary. Both remain at the Dallas County Jail under a bond of $40,000 each.
