ORRVILLE — A 28-year-old Orrville man was killed early Sunday morning — shortly before 5:30 a.m. — when the car he was driving left the road and “overturned several times,” according to a report from the Alabama State Troopers.

Bruce McGuire was fatally in injured when the 1997 Toyota Corolla he was driving wrecked in a single-vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 22, two miles west of Selma.

According to information from an early investigation, Troopers reported seat belts were not in use at the time of the accident and that alcohol “was a factor.”

Troopers are continuing to investigate and declined to release any additional information.
