Mr. Ivan S. Howard, 44, resident of Jones, Alabama, passed away February 24, 2013 at Baptist Health, Prattville,AL. Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Figtree Living Word Church officiated by Pastor Charles Howard. Burial will follow in Figtree Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He is preceded in death by mother, Katie Howard .

Survivors include father,Lazuras Howard Sr.; three brothers, Maurice Howard, William (Veola) Howard, and Lazuras (Nikitta) Howard Jr.; six sisters, Anderson Wells, Katie Jackson, Janice Howard, Julia (Willie) Tyes, Barbara Howard, and Theresa (James) Oden; a host of nieces and nephews.
