Adopt a furry friend this January

Although the Times-Journal’s free adoption program for the Selma Animal Hospital has closed, we still strongly encourage all animal-loving residents to adopt a furry friend.
New dogs and cats are brought in frequently to the animal hospital and each is deserving of a loving home. Why spend hundreds of dollars on a pet when you can adopt one for a low price in Selma? The Selma Animal Hospital and Selma Animal Shelter have been doing a great job of finding and bringing in stray animals that need a home. As a community, we should support the animal hospital and shelter and give a forever home to these animals.
All it takes is a loving heart and some time set aside each day for a healthy walk to keep these canines and felines happy. After all, there’s nothing better than coming home to a pet with overflowing unconditional love.
