Ms. Thurlean M.Depriest, 67, resident of Selma,passed away November 4, 2012 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2012, 12:00 noon at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiated by James Hudson. Burial will follow in Perryville Cemetery, Perry County, Alabama directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She is preceded in death by parents ,Herman and Elmira Melton Sr.; George and Herman Melton Jr.; sister, Bertha Odell Jones.

She is survived by daughter Gwendolyn Hill; two brothers Alvin (Evelyn) Melton of Augusta, GA. and James (Rachel) Melton of Spring Valley, NY.; two sisters, Blossie (Lake) Bates of Valley Grande, AL and Lessie Johnson of Selma, AL; one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law; many nieces, nephews, friend, and others.
