Mr. Jamie Peoples, 76, resident of Georgia, formerly of Plantersville, passed away October 17, 2012 at Home Hospice, Conyers, GA. Services are scheduled for October 27, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Freewill Christian Church officiated by Pastor Thomas Anderson. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

 

Survivors include five sons, Jimmie Walker Jr., Rev. Wayne Callen, Thomas Walker, Michael Walker, and Timothy Callen; five daughters, Gloria Burke, Shirley Walker, Loretta Davis, Cora Brady, and Carolyn Walker; four brothers, Rev. Meldee Walker, Rev. O.C. Oden, James Oden, Archie Lee Oden, and Robert James; three sisters, Ola Cogman, Mildred Anderson, and Vernell Flannigan; twenty three grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, three sons-in-laws, two daughters-in-laws, three brothers-in-laws, three sisters-in-laws, twelve nieces, eight nephews; four stepsons, Frank Lassiter, Johnny Lassiter, Dennis Lassiter, and Blaine Lassiter.

 

Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
