Mrs. Odessa Jackson Smiley, 82, resident of Selma, passed away October 17, 2012 at Jackson Hospital. Services are scheduled for October 23, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Mount Ararat officiated by Pastor L.L. Ruffin. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include son, Benjamin (Indira) Jackson; daughter, Brenda (Marion) Jackson Sewell, ; two brothers, Napoleon Brazier Jr. (Ann) and Percy Brazier (Judith); four grandchildren, Bryant Sewell, Briana Sewell, Ravi Jackson, and Geta Jackson; two sisters-in-laws; special cousins, Rose and Leonard White. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
