James Edward Goodwin, 73, resident of Bellmead, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 15. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, at Rosemond Cemetery in Waco, Texas, with Rev. David Medley officiating.

James was born November 26, 1938 in Furman, Alabama to Henry and Eza (Strickland) Goodwin. He served in the Army, was a warehouse Manager for several years and was a member of Lake shore united Methodist Church in Waco. James was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Mark Wojtylake. Survivors include his wife, Daisy Goodwin of Bellmead; sons, Donald Goodwin of Alabama, Robert Wojtylake and wife, Kim of New York, and Paul Wojtylake of Florida; daughter,Amber Wojtylake of Ross; sister, Betty Hamm of Alabama; brother, William Goodwin and wife, Janice of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
