Barbara Jean Rushing, 81, a resident of Prattville, AL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2012, with her family by her side. Mrs. Rushing was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by one son, Steve (Cindy) Barker; one daughter, Deborah Hepstall; four grandchildren, Christy Nokes, Melissa Carver, Jessica McConnell, and Jonathan Hepstall; 11 great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild; one sister, Anne (Bob) Nierste; one brother, Charles (Elizabeth) Wood; and numerous other extended family members and many friends.
